Paralegal, Farber Tax Law*
Marvin joined Farber Tax Law as Paralegal (licensed by the Law Society of Ontario) in 2020. He provides tax litigation support at all stages of the dispute process, including CRA audits, objections, and appeals to Tax Court. Marvin has assisted clients with the drafting and filing of taxpayer relief applications to the CRA. In addition, he provides paralegal support in a variety of matters including personal and corporate income tax, GST/HST, voluntary disclosures and residency determination matters.
Marvin attended the University of the West Indies (Mona), where he majored in History and Philosophy. He completed post-graduate studies in Mobile Communications at the Informa Telecoms Academy (United Kingdom) before completing his paralegal training at the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning (Ontario). Marvin is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree with the University of South Wales (United Kingdom).
Prior to working in the legal industry, Marvin held various technical and commercial roles in the telecommunications industry supporting clients in the Caribbean and Latin American markets. In addition to working in banking litigation for one of Canada’s largest multinational banks, Marvin has represented clients in civil litigation, landlord and tenant matters, and provincial offences matters within Ontario.
